At Luz Farm, we believe in sustainable and ethical animal husbandry practices. Located in Monee, Illnois, our farm is home to a variety of animals, including pigs, cows, goats, bees, and chickens.

Our commitment to the well-being of our animals is evident in every aspect of our farm operations. For example, our pigs are raised in spacious, open enclosures with plenty of room to roam and explore. They are also provided with a nutritious diet consisting of locally sourced grains, vegetables, and fruits.

Similarly, our cows and goats are pasture-raised and have access to fresh, green grass year-round. They are also given a supplement of high-quality feed to ensure that they are getting all of the nutrients they need.

Our bees are an essential part of our farm ecosystem, and we take great care to ensure their health and well-being. We use sustainable, chemical-free practices to manage our hives and harvest our honey.

Luz Elena Klotz and Dan, the owners of Luz Farm, have lived on the farm for over 30 years and have a deep love and respect for the animals in their care. In addition to providing top-quality meat, honey, and eggs, Luz Farm also offers a unique and memorable experience for visitors: cuddling sessions with our cows and goats. These gentle, sociable animals love nothing more than to be scratched behind the ears and patted on the head, and visitors to the farm can participate in these bonding sessions.
